Josh Burnstein is an Emmy-winning producer, journalist, and activist who served as a senior digital strategist in the Obama Administration, and Obama/Biden presidential campaigns. Josh made waves running a dynamic campaign for DNC Vice Chair this year, speaking truth to power and pressing the urgency for modernization and meaningful infrastructure. Josh was Creative Director for the 2024 DNC Convention in Chicago, directing original content for official channels and helping manage the first “Creator Cohort” of Influencers, credentialed like press, netting an estimated $800M worth of earned media. Josh previously directed digital communications for March For Our Lives, led the creative launch of Michelle Obama's initiative: When We All Vote, and was Senior Creative Advisor to the Democratic Party. A working standup comedian, Josh knows how to speak to broad coalitions with positivity and empowerment. He emceed major conferences like Summit Series and events at Neuehouse and Soho House. Josh is a Truman National Security Fellow, Webbys Executive Judge, an initial member of the “Climate Comedy Cohort,” and an advisory board member for the climate change organization, Dayenu. Josh is just your run-of-the-mill Asian Jew from Tulsa, OK. The first “New Media Guy” for Students for Barack Obama in ’07, since early YouTube Josh has helped shape digital content for political causes and campaigns with positivity and empowering messaging. Josh has five presidential campaigns of experience, and focuses on "impact entertainment," with international climate-focused shows LAST GLIMPSE and SPACEDROP streaming on Amazon Prime. Troy Blackwell, Jr. is a proud Afro-Latino from the Bronx,NY, a trusted spokesperson, and government executive who has worked for 2 presidential administrations and 3 national campaigns. Most recently, Troy served as President Biden's Deputy Chief Communications Officer at the U.S. Department of Commerce and as a council member on the White House working group for Science and Technology. Previously, Troy was the global spokesperson for the U.S. Peace Corps and the first openly LGBTQ person to serve in that role. As an advocate for public service, Troy has worked with labor unions including the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), Communications Workers of America (CWA), and SEIU’s fight for $15. During the COVID pandemic, Troy also founded Ready for Change, a PAC focused on getting out the 18-40 year old vote. Through targeted outreach, text banking, and organizing, Troy’s PAC contacted over 26,000 voters on behalf of Democrats.
